One of my favorite things about the Divi WordPress theme from Elegant Themes is that you can adjust just about every part of your website/blog to your liking without having to learn any code whatsoever.
For example, today I realized I wasn’t that happy with the font and spacing in my blog posts.
So all I had to do was go into the Theme Builder and adjust the template I had installed previously. It only took a few moments to change the font, spacing, etc. and “voila!”, all my posts inherited that adjustment.
You can find out a lot more about this here on one of Divi’s amazing tutorials.
Once I got the font and line height the way I wanted it, I was surprised how happy it made me feel. It was sort of that same feeling you get after you clean a room in your house or do a great job of washing your car. I wasn’t expecting that, to be honest.
I think if I had to code with manually with HTML or CSS (code, in other words) instead of being able to dial it all in visually, it would have been much harder to get the result I wanted, if I even did. I don’t want to mess with code. I just want to get a certain visual result, sooner than later, and then move on.
Dive is by far the best theme I’ve used in WordPress. Time spent learning its simple by numerous controls has definitely been rewarding so far.
